  • The trip to the place is very quiet having good structure. The stone is beautiful and its surroundings all too special. Beautiful set.

  • Amazing place, easy access and various facilities: bars, restaurants, parking, etc. In the village of Cocais I highly recommend a stop to enjoy the cuisine of Minas Gerais and the foods of the bars. Bucolic and enjoyable life.

  • My trip to the painted rock began in unusual way. On the train between BH and b. de Cocais, met a group of students and Faculty of PUC-MG and we met at the Inn where we stayed. They offered us a ride in their Charter and we just, I and my family, making the ride with them (all simpatississimos!). The place itself is beyond conventional. Is a site run by one family (which is the owner of the site) and the same are the guides to visit the cave paintings, very conserved. The family is super friendly and knows well the attractions of the place. To Beth and her father, Zé Roberto, are great to chat, you can talk hours. Access to the location of the paintings is very easy, you can go with a child of any age and the elderly. The view is fantastic, includes waterfalls and 180o from the region as well. After the visit we close with a lunch there, very nice by the way. I recommend everyone in Cocais (including walk if you have available are 3.5 km of ascent on a dirt road, with beautiful view of the Valley).
