Buraco Beach, Balneario Camboriu
(3.7/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
A small, secluded beach free of the usual tourist crowds, Buraco Beach is just 3 kilometers (under 2 mi) north of the city center. A short walk, with the cityscape for background, can get you there in minutes. Stop along the way to pick mussels off the rocks, then have a private picnic on the white sand of this remote beach. The water here can be quite rough and cold, with frequent high waves, so swimming is not recommended for small children. Lifeguards are on daily duty, and can advise you about safe spots along the shore. Take the night off and listen to the sound of the sea as the stars come out over the city. • Coarse sandy beach, stormy sea, close to the "Balneario Camboriu" to a hidden place. Good to visit, if you keep food, you can spend an afternoon in the shade of the trees, and bathe in the sea between the rocks.

  • The place is beautiful and really nice track. It's kind of scary because it's some excerpts are deserts and you can find people along the way. Avoid the way it is already getting dark. Not worth going to enjoy the beach, just to know: there is no structure on this side and the sea is rough. But worth the ride!

  • The beach is very beautiful but it's kind of restricted access due to the hotel. So you have to walk through the deck, but it's a very nice ride!
