Sagi Beach, Baia Formosa

4.6
#2 of 18 in Things to do in Baia Formosa
Sagi Beach is a long beach with strong waves, which hosts a small village but is practically deserted. It is only accessible by buggy and the dunes are perfect for sand buggy rides. Be sure to take the boat ride through the mangroves to the swamp where you can take a mud bath, which is said to be rejuvenating. A rustic kiosk at the end of the tour offers tasty crab, otherwise the infrastructure is lacking at this beach so consider bringing your own water and snacks. • Kilometres of beach available to us for endless walks. When the tide is favourable, there are natural pools. Attention to take plenty of water.

  • The Sagi in charmed with your tranquil beach, pools and lots of nature. The villagers are super friendly and seem to have come out of a novel. The local cuisine is amazing with its seasonings and freshness. A place to meet.

  • This is the last beach of the southern coast of Rio Grande do Norte, is on the border with the State of Paraíba and right next to beach Camaratuba bar, which is the last beach of the northern coast of Brazil. Is a fishing village and actually still is a district in the municipality of Baia Formosa, with little trade infrastructure, but the bars don't leave something to be desired, serving seafood, shrimp cakes, these the best I ever ate in my life!

  • Beach with wastelands and wide strip of sand. There are areas with coral reefs that make possible the formation of natural pools. The region is rich in off road vehicle path through the dunes of white sands and covered with vegetation that beautify even more.
