A very interesting place to learn more about the history of Atibaia and even about the colonization and occupation of this region. The exhibits are well preserved.

I found the Museum in the last day. I entered without imagining that I would find so many cool things in one place. The Museum has a very interesting collection, with many pieces of old clothes, guns, watches, tools of the era of slavery, coins of different countries, musical instruments, apparatus and telephony, anyway ... a multitude of pieces of various types. Very curious. Loved it! The service and staff is also 1000 note! Recommend!

For those who enjoy history, is a full plate! Besides a lot of history of the city of Atibaia, the Museum accumulates too much history of Brazil as well as the State of São Paulo in Brazil. Many things about the Empire, period of slavery, ancient weapons, typewriters, old musical instruments, furniture, clothing, religion ... Anyway, very cool thing. Oh yeah, not to mention the place, the big house where the Museum is installed. A trip to the past. Is very worthwhile. Free visitation.

Benedict square Paes has the Museum in a historic building, with a good collection of reference to revolution of 32, and with the statue of Maj. Juvenal Adebayo on the front and on the back with the Masonic Stone.

Has a reasonable collection, but depth 0. Is not explained the thematic spaces, nor what is exposed. In many instances it appears as a space for traditional families may expose the opulence of earlier times. In addition, materials of torture of people who were here brought in the same way that exposes the cups. In no way purports to relate the role of slavery in the formation and opulence. Art, as a political representation of history, is not present at this location.
