  • We visited the Museum yesterday, 14/05. The building is impressive, and the collection is typical of inner city, made mostly from donations from families of the place. But that's not what you expect from a local Museum, preserve their own history? The building is well maintained. The highlight is the love note to its employees and managers for the work they do. Our guide was great. To fix, just that the acquis is repetitive, there could be a selection of the items on display, like the big museums do. The Administration is to be congratulated.

  • The place is great. Already been prison, has been the Club .... today is the Museum. Pity that lack more careful to leave more attractive. But it is worth visiting.

  • Benedict square Paes has the Museum in a historic building, with a good collection of reference to revolution of 32, and with the statue of Maj. Juvenal Adebayo on the front and on the back with the Masonic Stone.

  • Has a reasonable collection, but depth 0. Is not explained the thematic spaces, nor what is exposed. In many instances it appears as a space for traditional families may expose the opulence of earlier times. In addition, materials of torture of people who were here brought in the same way that exposes the cups. In no way purports to relate the role of slavery in the formation and opulence. Art, as a political representation of history, is not present at this location.
