  • Wide preserved area administered by Ibama. Space between the duck ponds and mirim. stopping point for migratory birds and wild animals. The visitation should be scheduled.

  • Among the tourist attractions in Rio Grande, without doubt this was our favorite, the road is the same to the Chuí is already a spectacle the part, you can tell it's a backdrop of sheer beauty, where we can contemplate with large quantity. The TAIM ecological station reaching, there is a permanent exhibition where we can visit, as well as watch a video telling the history of the origin of TAIM, if visitors want to do trails is required to schedule before the visit is free, and worth the walk.

  • When I went by the Taim reserve toward the Chuí, it was raining and dark day, typical of winter in the South. But even so, a beautiful place with lots of Capybaras (including hit the side of the road), birds and lots of water. On the way back, in the late afternoon, was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.
