You’ll find it hard not to be seduced by the crystal-clear water and soft sand of this beach. Sheltered by reefs, the water is perfectly calm and ideal for swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, and diving. You can rent equipment from kiosks along the beach, where you will also find many small bars and restaurants specializing in seafood. At night, you will be joined by lively crowds from the city as Parracho Beach plays host to some of the most popular events in Arraial d'Ajuda. Where to stay in Porto Seguro

Luxury hotels and beach resorts are the name of the game when it comes to accommodations in Porto Seguro, with many tourists looking to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Most of these lie a couple of miles north of the city center, pressed up against long stretches of beach. To enjoy the party scene and get close to the best things to see in Porto Seguro, stay in the narrow streets of the old town. However, if the nightlife seems a bit too intense for your taste, consider the plentiful options in Arraial d'Ajuda--a smaller, quieter town just a couple of miles to the south.
