You’ll find it hard not to be seduced by the crystal-clear water and soft sand of this beach. Sheltered by reefs, the water is perfectly calm and ideal for swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, and diving. You can rent equipment from kiosks along the beach, where you will also find many small bars and restaurants specializing in seafood. At night, you will be joined by lively crowds from the city as Parracho Beach plays host to some of the most popular events in Arraial d'Ajuda. It is well worth you staying up late to enjoy the party. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Parracho Beach by using our Porto Seguro trip itinerary builder .

  • Located between the beaches Mucugê and Pitinga, is quieter, with less public, but it is not a deserted beach. Has restaurant in structures as well as the other. The sea is calm and if you are at low tide will have the formation of natural pools. Worth a visit, if you have willing to walk, you can walk to a beach to another, since the distance is not so great. If you are by car, look for points that don't cover parking, as the miner's Corner. If you are staying in Porto Seguro and is by ferry to Camp, you can catch one of the vans that are stationed there and take to the beaches by the value of $6.00 per person. Attention only to the time of return, because the vans stop circulating around 4:00 pm. Great place to enjoy with family and to relax.

  • For me this is the best beach of Arraial, even has the two improvements "beach", with low tide this beach is a spectacle, especially for those who want to ride a stand-up because it has no stones or coral, is literally a pool.

Where to stay in Porto Seguro

Luxury hotels and beach resorts are the name of the game when it comes to accommodations in Porto Seguro, with many tourists looking to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Most of these lie a couple of miles north of the city center, pressed up against long stretches of beach. To enjoy the party scene and get close to the best things to see in Porto Seguro, stay in the narrow streets of the old town. However, if the nightlife seems a bit too intense for your taste, consider the plentiful options in Arraial d'Ajuda--a smaller, quieter town just a couple of miles to the south.
