Relaxed location great for a swim. I found people with dogs. That's why I didn't give 5 stars.

The beach is clean and the best tents are the ones that are in the middle of the beach. At low tide form pools with warm water.

Great beach to spend the day at. Calm water for stand-up paddle (SUP) beginners. Kayaks and SUP boards available to rent by the hour. If you paddle out to the breakwater you might get to see some turtles!

Where to stay in Porto Seguro

Luxury hotels and beach resorts are the name of the game when it comes to accommodations in Porto Seguro, with many tourists looking to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Most of these lie a couple of miles north of the city center, pressed up against long stretches of beach. To enjoy the party scene and get close to the best things to see in Porto Seguro, stay in the narrow streets of the old town. However, if the nightlife seems a bit too intense for your taste, consider the plentiful options in Arraial d'Ajuda--a smaller, quieter town just a couple of miles to the south.
