Where to stay in Porto Seguro

Luxury hotels and beach resorts are the name of the game when it comes to accommodations in Porto Seguro, with many tourists looking to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Most of these lie a couple of miles north of the city center, pressed up against long stretches of beach. To enjoy the party scene and get close to the best things to see in Porto Seguro, stay in the narrow streets of the old town. However, if the nightlife seems a bit too intense for your taste, consider the plentiful options in Arraial d'Ajuda--a smaller, quieter town just a couple of miles to the south.

  • Although no longer have the Blue Lagoon, is worth a lot of the ride, the cliffs, the sea water warm and inviting for a bath, just beautiful.

  • I heard several narratives. Since environmental crime, the diversion of the lagoon by someone who bought land adjacent to the story of "the Blue Lagoon has dried up," among other less believable. In common, is that there is no more Blue Lagoon. And in fact what we see on the site. Still wonderful beach, the sea, the waters also of southern Bahia and your temperature will remain on the beach with the name of the Lake that no longer exists. With this, inevitable feeling that something happened, a frustration, a don't know. We left the place feeling sorrow, a sorrow which does not match the beauty of the beach. I hope the authorities clarify the facts. The site deserves attention. And worth the visit, same with the facts clear about death of the Blue Lagoon.

  • It's worth walking down to the Blue Lagoon Mucugê. The view is beautiful, especially the cliffs! The bar called "Blue Lagoon" is very good, with reasonable prices considering the location.
