Where to stay in Porto Seguro

Luxury hotels and beach resorts are the name of the game when it comes to accommodations in Porto Seguro, with many tourists looking to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Most of these lie a couple of miles north of the city center, pressed up against long stretches of beach. To enjoy the party scene and get close to the best things to see in Porto Seguro, stay in the narrow streets of the old town. However, if the nightlife seems a bit too intense for your taste, consider the plentiful options in Arraial d'Ajuda--a smaller, quieter town just a couple of miles to the south.

  • Hosted about 2 km away, (the fire goes out,) I did walk between 10 and 11 hours, at low tide with my wife. The beach in this month of may, a true desert, but calm seas at that time, beach, beautiful backgrounds of guesthouses and summer houses, with several mansions.
