Orla Bardot Boardwalk, Armacao dos Buzios
(4.5/5 based on 4,400+ reviews on the web)
Orla Bardot Boardwalk, connecting Armacao Beach with the city’s famous Rua das Pedras, was named after French actress Brigitte Bardot, whose visit to the area in 1964 turned a small fishing village into a renowned tourist destination. Linking two of the city’s oldest sections, this oceanfront pathway features several statues created by artist Christina Motta, including representations of Bardot and former Brazilian president Juscelino Kubitschek. The path is lined by wooden benches, and offers panoramic views of the beach and dozens of colorful fishing boats anchored just off the coast. Talk a walk along the boardwalk to discover one of the region’s oldest fishing communities, see historic colonial houses, and browse numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. • The edge has a very relaxing landscape, being possible to take several pictures and walk listening to the sound of the waves. Special mention to the statues of Brigitte Bardot and the fishermen.

  • Nominate a walk along its whole length. If your starting point is more or less in the middle of the edge, facing the sea going left will be the path of Rua das Pedras and restaurants, exciting shows and some high standard hotels, also the statue of Brigitte Bardot, which gives the name to the edge. Walking to the right, will be going toward the beach of bones and this walk for me is the most beautiful. On the way you will find ancient mansions and preserved. Between these houses a was detached from JK, Juscelino Kubitschek and turned into a restaurant that kept some features preserved his residences, to find the place find a statue of own JK that is no nameplate, the garden is opposite. Continuing the walk, the beach makes a curve to the left and at the end you will see the left a pier, fantastic place to contemplate the sunset, the right will find a cancel and can pass and up the small ladira which at the end will have a very old church which gives to the ossos Beach, upstairs the look is beautiful. The boardwalk in all its extension has no ledge so if you go with children take great care. Otherwise just enjoy the visual, drinks in bars and even do a little shopping cheer up $ $ $!! KKK
