  • Small museum, with relatively small collection, but the visit provides us with greater integration into local culture. Taking time, always worth knowing

  • Visit a Museum in a country where there is a lack of resources for the basics, always wait for little. However, the Museum Calmon Barreto, an artist's only Museum, surprised me by the quality of the work of the artist. Versatile artist in painting, sculpture and drawings, in addition to their craft at the Mint! I have a piece of this beautiful arcevo, which are not for sale! Congratulations to city of Araxa, for contributing to the preservation of the history of the city and the country.

  • Large space. Small collection. The attendants are friendly, but there really isn't much to see there, no despise the work of Calmon Barreto, on the contrary. The street on which it sits is in terms of access and parking. Too narrow and without options. Walk, which is better. I saw other reviews, from people who were also in that Museum, realizing the "Grand collection", but frankly the acquis is not great. Unless I've given bad luck and part of the works were not there on the day I visited. I wouldn't bet on that chance. But it is in fact a tribute to the artist justíssima.
