  • The place is beautiful, with various types of track option. The guides are a sympathy (tico). I was sad because I scored to make the pendulum in the mouth and at the time did not do because I didn't have the minimum of enough people.

  • The Parque Estadual da Pedra da Boca, is a very nice and enjoyable! Features: abseiling, hiking and climbing. In all tours has different levels. The main Ride is the ascent of the rock, where you do the rappelling, pendulum and the trails that go through the caves. Your hosting and the family are wonderful! There is no collective kitchen or is close to grocery store, it is advisable to make meals all there (affordable prices, type B.p.) On the property you can camp, there does not rent tent is necessary take your, if they wish more comfort, there are hostels 1 or 2 km from the Park. The Park works every day, but the increased focus is on the weekends, if the visitor has to go during the weekdays, you need to connect and communicate. The Park is located in the municipality of Araruna, PB, already on the border with RN, but soon realizes that the Government is very sloppy with the space and don't really care, who cares really is your Park and your family, that has a love and affection for the place, (believe it or not a minimum wage of incentive they receive , which keeps the space is tourism), the Park is not only used for tourist purposes and adventures, as well as military training and visits by teachers and students for purposes of research and field class. Follows some local prices (end of 2016) camping: daily 10.00 10.00 and 15.00 Meals: between each track: 10.00 package: rising stone + Pendulum + Rappel 50.00 worth knowing this park! All come back renewed.

Beautiful nature, some excitement in the climbing and fine views from above. Tasty and affordable food after the hike. La vidinha boa.

  • Great Park, with a lot of outdoor activities. Unfortunately there isn't a good base camp, only a small restaurant with bathrooms closed to the park.
  • experiência maravilhosa passar uns dias lá. procurem por Seu Tico para trilhas e refeições ao pé do parque.
  • Our starting point for this hike is from Traiçao Bay, small fishing town situated on the ocean, on the coast north of Paraiaba. from here we expect approximately 130 km. of paved road in endless loneliness Sertao Brazilian. Our brightly coloured estate car hurtling, so to speak, the language of black asphalt crossing small villages where time seems to stand still, until you get to the programmed destination, the State Park of Pedra da Boca. The park entrance is dominated by the Majesty of Pedra, a gigantic Rocky monolith furrowed by deep slits carved by erosion from the elements, on the main wall of the rock you open your big mouth cave that the next day will be the goal of our adventurous walk. For the time being we have to take care of our accomodation which brings us to the Pousada Fulò da Pedra, a series of rustic chalets built on a hill overlooking the pedra overlooking fantastic views. From here you can observe the whole complex of rock formations that form the Park each with forms and special features. To end the day we plan an excursion on the top of a rock from which to admire the "Por do sol", sunset, brilliant, dazzling and a heated and intense fiery red. The walk of just over an hour tackling a vertical drop of 80 meters, you walk on granite rocks in a garden of Succulents from which bloom colourful flowers, there are agave, bromeli, wild orchids which you alight dozens of butterflies, it's March and the first rains of the wet season, dry terrain of the sertao that bathe the miraculously turns into a garden full of life. Got to top the spectacle of shapes that you draw from the rocks against the red background of the sky at sunset repays the small effort of walking. After this meditative experience is back, in the twilight, the pousada where we expect a shower and dinner on the porch with the background noises of wild nature. In the morning you wake up early, after a hearty breakfast, tackling the ascent to the Pedra da Boca, our guide is Tico, a nice gentleman in his fifties, great connoisseur of these places, flora and fauna that popoalano them and along the way he tells us stories of his youth, are the stories of those who lived a hard life and tiring the region's land, working l "stingy or bringing the cows to pasture on his horse here is like a brother. Time passes fast while listening to the tales of Tico that partly relieve fatigue and soon we arrive at the last climb which is crossed by climbing on a wall at 45° with the aid of a rope passed this "final hurdle you come inside the Boca. From here you realise the size of the cave that opens to 80 meters in the Crescent to form a natural amphitheatre of incredible charm with a breathtaking view of the valley below. It's time to go back, but before leaving for the Bay by Traiçao we still expected a "last emotion, the owner of pousada, a strong-looking man and tempered by the hard work of vaqueiro is waiting for us to give us a demonstration of horse whispering technique doma, is yet another positive note of this tour that leaves us with a little saudade" nell "embark on our return trip.
