Opened in 1979, the Parque Rollemberg José Leite, better known as Cidade Park and mini zoo, covers an area of 674 sq m (7,255 sq ft) and is the only Atlantic forest reserve in Aracaju. An 800 m (2625 ft) cable car offers visitors an unparalleled view of the park, its flora and fauna, and the city of Aracaju. You will also find the Image of Our Lady of the Holy Conception, a 10 m (33 ft) statue standing on a viewing platform at a high point of the park. • Is a very pretty and nice area near the Mata Atlantica. The Zoo is free but has a few bugs. The cable car is interesting and has a view of the city of Aracaju.

  • The City Park has a Zoo and the cable car. Good to walk alone, two or in family. Pretty wooded park. The Zoo does not have many animals, but enough to know and appreciate some of the living things that make up nature. As in the Park must walk a lot, if you need bathroom at the Zoo, ideal to go soon to enter, to return, if it will take a little time. From the Zoo to the cable car's also somewhat, experiencing rise or fall, depending on the sense of attraction. If the famine hit, a few snack stands in front of the Zoo and fixed on the cable car. As the cable car, the ride is paid, where accepted "half" as payment. He enjoys the atmosphere of the Park as a whole, as well as have a wide image of the city. Atalaia rim the Park, Uber, I paid R $24.00 on the morning of Saturday, accessible by the distance which they find themselves.

  • The City Park is very beautiful, a well-preserved green space. There is the Zoo and the ski lift, in relation to the Zoo, even though I don't like animals trapped, is pretty cool, but honestly inspires care. The animals get alone, only in the lobby staffed (has one or another in cleaning), and that can be dangerous if anyone wants to mess with them or try to open a cage or something (even hurt them, because nowadays I don't doubt anything else). There's no guide, is abandoned, with very "weeds" around the cages, it still is beautiful and worth the visit, which is free. You can sign up to have a picnic (pretty cool), but you can't enter with animals (saw some people being barred because she was with a dog). In relation to the cable car that's paid R $16.00 per person (July 2017). It's a nice ride, a peace up there, very quiet, goes over the Zoo, staff very helpful and polite. When you go through on the cable car, you can go to a track where you have a beautiful landscape for a bridge of Aracaju (forgot the name) and the image of a Saint. In relation to the track, it was pretty empty (I went on a weekday), I freaked out a little bit because they had 3 people that have entered in the Woods, but they were polite and followed the path of them lol. I don't advise you go alone, go accompanied or in group. I think the ride is worth super worth the fact that ride the cable car, is loud, it's kind of scary, but it's great.
