(3/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Opened in 1979, the Parque Rollemberg José Leite, better known as Cidade Park and mini zoo, covers an area of 674 sq m (7,255 sq ft) and is the only Atlantic forest reserve in Aracaju. The park holds a zoo with around 500 animals including monkeys, bears, jaguars, and tropical birds. An 800 m (2625 ft) cable car offers visitors an unparalleled view of the park, its flora and fauna, and the city of Aracaju. You will also find the Image of Our Lady of the Holy Conception, a 10 m (33 ft) statue standing on a viewing platform at a high point of the park. • This location is also the Zoo, but it's not worth it, seems well abandoned. But if you want to take a tour, see a bit of green and venturing into high (maximum of 15 metres) is worth the ride on the cable car, and the first stop is also possible to see the beautiful city if Aracaju, I and my family enjoyed.

  • Excellent place, very beautiful, well wooded, with a cable car that crosses the entire Zoo and arrives at the highest location (Belvedere) where we can see the city.

  • A different ride in the zoo's gondola. Different tour, to see some green worth meet
