Artistas beach, Aracaju

2.8
#13 of 16 in Beaches in Aracaju
The most popular urban beach in Aracaju, thanks to its good infrastructure, Artistas beach (Old Watchtower Beach) is also much frequented by surfers. As well as the usual beach stalls selling snacks and coconut water, you will find plenty of bars where you can enjoy a drink and a dance, and those looking to exercise will appreciate the basketball, soccer and tennis courts, and the nearby skate park. Be careful when swimming, as the strong currents and hidden underwater trenches have been known to catch tourists unawares. Put Artistas beach and other Aracaju attractions into our Aracaju trip itinerary maker site , and watch your holiday take shape.

  • The beach has an air of abandonment. In the hotel and tourism agency advised us not to attend. On arrival I've seen a lot of garbage, people smoking marijuana and I didn't feel at ease, wouldn't even get in the water, I took a little walk and I left.

  • Beach clean, with extenssa strip of sand, next to the Center and the edge of Atalaia. Very well served in bars and restaurants surrounded by sand and coconut trees. Perfect for all kinds of public!!!!!

  • The beach is beautiful, big and hot water, but what's the point of all this if you cannot bathe, she is one of the most dangerous of Brazil, to visit ok, but bathe ever.
