Vale da Lua, Alto Paraiso de Goias
(4.4/5 based on 1,800+ reviews on the web)
A bizarre landscape that recalls the moon’s surface, Vale da Lua is one of the most visited spots in Alto Paraiso de Goias. The rock formations the spot is famous for were carved out by flowing water that left scooping hollows and small gorges where pools collect. These craters and gorges have smooth surfaces that, when filled with water, create natural water slides and bathing pools for visitors. You’ll need hiking boots to get there; but, once there, a swimsuit and water shoes will suit the occasion just fine. You’ll pay a fee upon entering the area, but a guide isn’t necessary and the money goes to the preservation and upkeep of the area. • Very interesting the kind of training that meet there. Fácil.bom track location for bathing, not exceptional but enjoyable

  • You really feel an astronaut when you get in this place. But much better because you're in a bathing suit, in the Sun the PIN and no problems with gravidade...rs. It sure is one of the must-see attractions in the region that may be combined with another attraction. Gets in the way of Alto Paraíso to San José. very quiet Trail.

  • Stunning place, pleasant swim in the river. Paid entry but well worth it!
  • Worth visit, interesting geological formation. Top three places in region, not a huge waterfall but it is possible to swim.
