Loquinhas Falls, Alto Paraiso de Goias

(1,000+ reviews on the web)
Waterfall
Very close to the town of Alto Paraíso and easily accessible, you will find Loquinhas Falls, a place where you will forget that you’re so close to civilization. The trail is well marked with many benches along the way where you can stop to take in the scenery and watch marmosets jumping from branch to branch. At some points, the trail is high above the ground, providing a closer view of the tree canopy. There are natural ponds along the way for you to enjoy and the waterfalls themselves are crystal clear and not as cold as many others. Relax and meditate in the tranquil scenery. Loquinhas Falls is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Alto Paraiso de Goias Edition.

  • Of Alto Paraíso you can walk, but it takes more or less 1 hour, but hitchhiking there is softness, is toe cocked and ready. Pay of $15 to $20 to enter the location of the waterfalls, worth every penny. Are 14 altogether if memory serves. When I went it rained a lot and yet we could see super crystalline waters, like the ones in the photo. The trail is very quiet, you can go barefoot and there are many stretches sun decks, all highly signaled, gotta go one by one and then choose the best to stay. I want to go back in a day without rain. The water is cold, but is very worthwhile.

  • In addition to being a magical place as high, this waterfall is less than half an hour's walk from the city of Alto Paraíso. You don't even have to ride it. And even if we have to pay entrance to see things of nature, negotiating pay $5. And we will be at the gates of paradise. The place is beautiful, very well taken care of and leaves you in a State of grace for all the time we get there. You can spend the whole day inside those after waters. The game is played.

  • Had already gone on Loquinhas, but was in the period of drought and some wells were empty, but this time was great! All wells had plenty of water! The trail is quiet, ida may get tired a little bit because it is a climb with some steps in the structure, like a sidewalk, of wood, but it's no big deal, easily you'll see elderly and children in her way ... the entire trail has more or less 1 km, with a well in the home for children soon after have you must until you reach the waterfall wells even, is worth knowing. The entrance was $25 per person and only comes to the 5:00 pm. Access is easy, after crossing Alto Paraíso by main street to the end, will appear the platelets that indicate the way, a little asphalt and then dirt road, around 3 km.
