Loquinhas Falls, Alto Paraiso de Goias
(4.5/5 based on 950+ reviews on the web)
Very close to the town of Alto Paraíso and easily accessible, you will find Loquinhas Falls, a place where you will forget that you’re so close to civilization. The trail is well marked with many benches along the way where you can stop to take in the scenery and watch marmosets jumping from branch to branch. At some points, the trail is high above the ground, providing a closer view of the tree canopy. There are natural ponds along the way for you to enjoy and the waterfalls themselves are crystal clear and not as cold as many others. Relax and meditate in the tranquil scenery. Loquinhas Falls is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Alto Paraiso de Goias Edition.

  • We did a walk of the city until the Loquinhas, unique opportunity to see the sights with ease, there follow walking up the last well and then we went back and going into each one, some more shaded, others beating Sun. The water is cold, but the trick is to get out of the "comfort zone" and enjoy the experience.

  • The site offers not just one, but several falls and wells that provide the visitor with a stunning visual. Crystal clear waters with green, blue water wells among other colors, invite for a cold shower and very refreshing.

  • Stay close to the Inn where I stayed with my daughter. She was nominated by the people there. The trail is quiet. Are several wells, but some were closed due to drought in the region. Seen it all and back to the first well, where we stayed a long time swimming in the crystal clear waters, with the fishies! I loved it, I left feeling revitalized!
