  • Today, with good infrastructure, the Park offers in addition to trails to the peak, many waterfalls from your entry. Actually, it's two entrances--one for the State of Espírito Santo and the other, by the beautiful city Alto Caparaó. You need at least three days to get to know a good part of the Park. Good hotels, lodges and restaurants in town, complement the great walk and climb.

  • I got to know the Park through the Stone entries girl and Alto Caparaó, beautiful waterfalls, mountain trails. Try to always drive to the end of the paved trail near the campgrounds within the Park. The waterfall of Aurelius is beautiful Girl and stone in the enchanted Valley Alto Caparaó is really charming.

  • I entered the Park at around 6:00 pm in order to perform the night trekking towards the pico da Bandeira, the 9 km that lead us to the camp of Tronqueira did drive in from some friends, I go walking in the next. On tronqueira glamour is the sunset which is fantastic! There I met people with the same appeal, the race, Lena, so as I was climbing alone, so we joined and look forward to others who were climbing. The 8:00 pm already cold is intense, no matter the season, at that time was already short 13oC. Around 10:30 pm arrived two more boys and the 11:00 pm three more people, so we climbed the 11:20 pm starting our trekking towards the pico da Bandeira with 2892mts. I didn't bother With the fitness, for I am well conditioned but not setting a faster pace because of the thin air, the difference is remarkable with each step. It took us 2 hours to walk the first 3, 7 km to the encampment of the land, once there we enter the stone house and rest for 1 hour and a half, time to reach the peak before sunrise, but not too soon to address the 5oC up there. When you freeze the cold takes over and the tremor is involuntary. We left the 3:00 the morning toward the peak, this time with another couple in our cia, these well experienced, I confess that I found the climb very quiet because it is night and between Woods, waterfalls and rocks, there was no difficulty, an extremely starry sky in accompanied throughout the climb, I've never seen something so spectacular, several shooting stars, a gift from the universe. The 5:33 I put my feet on the highest point of the peak and what was my surprise to see the blue sky orange the waning Moon, until I redid the excitement! But I'm in love by Divine ideas ... they win all the time! The Sunrise was spectacular and everything was so special that I come back in 3 months to live another moment like that.
