  • The initial reason for the stay was a stop for splitting in two days our passage from Kasane to South Africa. But it ended up becoming a fantastic evening of relaxation, conversation and a perfect traditional dinner, we help to prepare to hang out and participate in the kitchen with the team of Lucy. Dinner consisted of salad, pap, panocha de corn, sausage and chicken, a kind of Ratatouille and above all highlight a huge spinach cooked with crushed peanuts. Nothing special, simple, but good, accompanied by Lucy, South African wine conversation and the stars and the noises of the night. Would that more can be ordered? We stayed in a villa of 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and kitchenette, basic, but clean, in which you find only in absence of, say, a refrigerator and a fan in the rooms. The shower with little pressure, but enough to take a shower. Little more can you say, come expressly surely not worthwhile, but if you pick up on the way, do not hesitate. Happy to have collaborated with Lucy in his project, congratulations to her and to all his people

  • The Kuminda farm is a 3/4 hour Northwest of Francistown on the A 3 to NATA. It is a large area with a few small simple House. The default of existing conservation was the construction of the chalets and rondavels with natural materials and the plant of the gardens. A great organic garden supplies constantly fresh vegetables for the kitchen, from the delicious meals come - cooked by Chief Lucy myself. Also the overall planning for the construction and the design of the system comes from its hand with its lush trees and Bush stock and small hiking trails, in the middle of a large Rocky Hill with a magnificent view waits for his ascent (a few minutes). She has fulfilled a lifelong dream so. Lucy is a real personality with highly interesting resume. Grew up in the neighbouring village of Marabelo, she has us made a tour in the surrounding area and in the village and the development of recent decades us so near brought, as it not could have been better. It was a joy in and with her dinner and to listen to their stories. This place is a real insider tip - yet!
