  • It was a different experience from other parts of Africa (Namibia-South Africa-Kenya) and definitely much more interesting. There were 4 and we had everything at our disposal. We were lucky because we have often seen the famous "big five" that not everyone is given see. I recommend it to everyone though in truth is a journey somewhat pricey.

  • We - two women - had read that only 75 self-propelled come a day in the Chobe Park and only from 09:00. However the tours were too expensive - 4 persons € 100. Only 4 persons find themselves. Most drive through the Chobe Park. So we tried our luck too. We were gate 08:00 on the Sidudu and easily - just came with 4 x 4 -. Admission for 2 people and vehicle cost 290 Pula. The Riverfront is a one-way street. At times it runs also two-lane so oncoming traffic is no problem. With our car we drove well as absolute beginners the Riverfront along - 4 H was sufficient. We saw lots of animals: baboons, elephants, birds, even lions from some further distance, Antelope / bucks and hippos. We drove up to the Serondela picnic site. After we animals have been less and less, wanted to take the exit towards Natanga. The way was okay - some parts I had nevertheless set 4 L. Sometime a little Sandy easily surge came, we have not dared the take. We have used and wanted to take the exit on the upper road. Disaster. Even this route was feasible, but narrow and overgrown. Nonstop are branches on the car along ground and the branches have flipped us the mirror. By the way, both by means of absolute solitude are marked. If something happens to it's own completely on itself. So we spent again and again drove direction riverfront. Just before the river front are we stuck in the sand - simply from lack of concentration after the previous to take alternative exits attempts. But near the river front, that was no problem. There enough guide tourists through the Park, who have helped us drive. The output on the Riverfront runs parallel to the one-way street, or bifurcates and the one-way street in two ways. We 2-2.5 hours to the Serondela went picnic site on the Riverfront in itself. The routes are signposted in the Park. You find yourself along to do so well. A well-known app maps-... Displays all routes within the Park. It was as a beginner the Riverfront along to ride no problem and to drive the parallel way towards the exit. Trust you. Feasible - for beginners - as long as you drive about not towards Natanga or take the upper road.

  • Every day, with cold but well sheltered, we got on the car to be driven back into the Park, and we were in silence against the beauty of the place, and with anticipation of what we bring adventure the new day. We were not disappointed on any excursion, and otherwise, each output surprised, amazed with close encounters with animals (too many to name here) and birds of abundant variety. To the a el contemplar see the animals and birds of good nearby, with a professional guide who also knew every detail of the nature, were fully immersed in nature but from the safety and comfort of the vehicle. The boat trip that allowed to observe left the animals from the River with observation of dozens of "Carmine Bee Eaters" in a tree, something I will never forget, more crocodiles, hippos, Lions, Buffalo, and birds of all varieties. It was a story made reality. I stress the beauty of the landscape and of each animal. Far the most beautiful I've seen.
