, also known as Stonetown, is a cultural, administrative, and educational complex built by film director Emir Kusturica and dedicated to Yugoslav novelist and Nobel prize winner Ivo Andric. The town's architecture is a mixture of various historical periods and styles--Ottoman, Byzantine, Renaissance, and Classicist. Pass the main gate to the pedestrian street, which features a souvenir shop, gallery, jewelry store, bank, bookstore, cafes and restaurants. Notice how a caravanserai, a Turkish roadside inn, stands next to a Byzantine palace. The concept of the project is to show how the town of Visegrad would have looked if all of the town's rulers had invested more into it. Our Visegrad vacation planner makes visiting Andricgrad and other Visegrad attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.
