Categories: Breweries, Food & Drink
Inspirock Rating:
4.1/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web
The century-and-a-half old Sarajevska Pivara has never stopped brewing, even during Ottoman times, two World Wars, and the Yugoslav wars of the 1990s. Visit the company that distributed drinking water to people during times of conflict. Today the company serves beer, traditional food, and soft drinks during much more peaceful times. Sample their selection of brews, which range from from blonde to dark, and ask to try some of the firm's award-winning beers and water. The company's regular brew and mineral water both won gold medals in 2011 from Monde Selection, a European organization that tests consumer products. • Clasic tourist trap. Go just to pub to drink good beer, because museum is like 5m2 and there is nothing interesting inside
  • Very nice in the old brewery. Traditional good and abundant, prompt and courteous service, fair prices.

  • The Museum's tiny, descurtina entry. To buy a glass of beer as a souvenir, you don't have to enter the Museum. The Brewery Restaurant, just a few metres after the Museum is very good and cheap.

  • The dark beer is particularly good, rich and a bit sweet.
  • Good beer!
  • Great place and great beer.. but the dark beer is questionable. .
  • The interior of this building is quite cool and the beer is solid.
  • Worth the visit. Kind of touristy but still nice to have some beers.
