  • Beyond the colors of foods exposed on the benches, the color that stands out is the Red of the long front wall. Above there are engraved the names of white victims of a cowardly attack. Here during the long siege, a mortar round fell, breaking the lives of 67 people intent on buying that eat. Officially the hand which launched the hit "no one knows" that religious sign accomplishes daily ... .... The market is small, along the main road, Marshal Tito. more than to shop, this is a place of memory. the white marble plaque next to Red Wall, in English, recounts what happened at that point. While I was watching I approached a gentleman, almost on tiptoe, which in language (locale) and gestures (International), I translated it. We loved the gesture, done spontaneously without intent of ulterior motives ... ... Judging from the white hair, that day my translator, had all the credentials to be present there ... looking around, I could say the same of most current sellers ... the thing we made it back to 20 years before and touched us very much.

  • Fresh local produce, prices are so-so, but you come here you are looking for quality, for cheap fruits go to one of the three supermarkets right next to it. It's historically important, and a must see if you are having a tour of the city.
  • Must visit! It is an open market, most people working there sell their organic products. Also, place has sad war history.
  • Quaint local fresh produce market. I bought some peaches and raspberries from a very funny old man who, despite our language barrier, kept making jokes and snuck some free tiny peaches into my bag :D
  • Great organic products
  • Everything to buy but cannot access with car no place to stop by
