  • Not really that much there. Most of the exhibitions were seemingly closed off and the staff were not present to sell tickets etc. I think I visited on a bad day.  more »
  • It seems that in this period are undergoing renovations and composition of exposures are not complete, however the view on objects and daily life in Sarajevo during the siege deserves to be seen. Also of interest is the photographic exhibition which compares pictures of various angles of the city at a distance of fifteen years from the events that have scarred.

  • The Museum is quite interesting but very small. It takes 40 minutes to see it all. The building in which it is located is in a poor state and needs a strong restructuring.

  • this museum is a must see, specifically permanent exhibition about living conditions in Sarajevo during the war. As most of the museums in my country funding is geting cut and any contribution helps museum to stay open. While visiting National museum don't miss this one since it is important to us.
  • This museum is in a very poor condition. There were only few exhibits open, the illumination was poor, the explanations in English few and the interior of the museum was cold.
  • Excellent museum. 5 BAM for entry , and some parts were under renovation. Loved the exhibition on life in the former Yugoslavia. The Sarajevo war section was as expected very very real.
  • This is an important museum with a most fascinating and heartbreaking collection about the Siege of Sarajevo. It's a shame that the building is in such poor condition. If you're in Sarajevo then you must go visit; a couple of hours, at least, is needed to carefully examine and think about the items presented.
  • The museum is still under construction but if you are interested in Bosnian recent history this is a must see for you. You ll find exhibition about the civil war, the siege and the life of Bosnians during this dark period.
