Kravice Falls, Mostar

(4.5/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Nestled in a lush forest, Kravice Falls cascades from heights of up to 28 m (92 ft). The site remains largely unspoiled simply because of its remote location from the region's cities. The waterfalls provide different views throughout the year, depending on the water level and temperature. Those in search of a tranquil environment often have picnics at this site, and several small restaurants offer local food and refreshment to hungry visitors. Pitch a tent and lay back while rippling of the falls soothes your nerves, or admire the sights and snap photos of this gem. • There are a few things to consider before visiting the Kravica Falls. They are close to Mostar but apparently not possible to reach without public transportation. You will need a car or take part in s...  more »
  • Cataracts are coming down from the parking lot, about a 15 minute walk, but it is beautiful when you're going down the Middle trees begin to glimpse and when arrive at together they are beautiful as they fall into a lake surrounded by plants and trees. Simply a show of nature that is worth a visit because it is beautiful. There is a little bridge of wood which you can cross the Lake, following to a river, and you can see them from a different perspective. It is beautiful, the truth hit me much.

  • It is definitely a place worth visiting. We visit them whenever we go to Mostar, therefore I am here was about 10 times. Every time you are a little bit different. It depends on the amount of water. There used to be a pedestrian bridge, but here she took water. So I have no idea whether it restored. This year I'm here again, so I'll check it. It's better to just go to the waterfalls at the moment when the weather is worse. It's only a few people here. Otherwise, there is a head to head and it's not just an experience. With you I'm sure, if you want to Wade across to the other side.

  • The waterfall area is very beautiful and a must visit if you are staying in Mostar or somewhere in Bosnia. It's also really easy to reach from south of Croatia. Near the waterfalls are some bars and cafes where you can drink and eat something. Its possible to swim in the water, but sometimes the water is dirty when the water is low. Hint: in the summer its recommended to come early in the morning to avoid a lot of people. You can take very nice pictures.
  • A beautiful waterfall area. But clearly the people who look after the place are intolerant and sectarian as they put a board for the people not to perform any prayer at site. This is really unnecessary, we are in 21st century Europe but not in Stalin's Communist Europe.
  • Beautiful waterfalls and the best view i love this place
  • Waterfall in Hercegovina, beautiful nature during spring.
  • I can't say enough about how great this place is. Stunning natural setting with multiple waterfalls surrounding a clear, cool lake. Plenty of cafes to sit at with cheap food and drinks. You can rent kayaks or swim freely. Don't bother with the mini tram from the ticket booth, it's a nice, short walk.
