  • The entire courtyard of the mosque is lined with Verkaufsstaänden, for each part of the mosque entrance fee must be paid. Business at its best, sad!

  • The mosque inside has no major visual interest, the view of the minaret is against impregnable, 89 markets in a very narrow staircase. To make your photos

  • Its historical place with excellent view to river and Old bridge with towers. Worth to visit and enjoy.
  • Climb the minaret if you are able to walk stairs. It's 12KM (€6) and absolutely worth it! The highlight is the view of the Stari Most, but the views of the rest of Mostar are fantastic.
  • Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque (Koski Mehmed-pašina džamija)- As you approach the #OldBridge, you will notice a mosque at an unusual spot right at the edge of river Neretva. Like most of the mosques in Bosnia, this too is an ancient structure built with typical Ottoman architecture. This mosque was built at the beginning of the 17th century by Koski Mehmed-Pasha and hence named after him. A spectacular panoramic view of the city can be enjoyed from the minaret of the mosque, at only five metres from the Neretva River. Right outside the mosque is a small step besides the stoned wall which is an ideal spot to click pictures of the Old Bridge while the same bridge gives a breath taking view of this historical mosque and the river Neretva. Pictures cannot do justice, you have to be there to feel the grandeur of these two wonderful structures.
  • A lovely Ottoman-era mosque that has been converted to a museum. It is a little tatty inside, however very beautiful in its simple elegance. The view from the minaret across the Old Town is very beautiful and worth the climb up the stairs.
  • Its just a joke. You pay money for NOTHING. Don't go there!
