  • For the second year with his wife spend Christmas at the Serb brothers. And if last year in Belgrade we have not gone to the night service here decided to spend Christmas in Serbian or Božič. In the festive atmosphere reigned. Shops were closed, and museums generally did not work. Circle, even at the Cathedral hung Serbian flags. Inside the Cathedral was decorated with festive Christmas tree badnjak. The Cathedral is relatively small but nice and cozy. Candles and other religious items are sold to the right of the main entrance, and candles to pray for health and may put a bottom in a separate building on the right. We arrived a little bit in advance to 11 pm. The service began promptly at midnight. People came very much-complete Cathedral. A lot of young people. No one left until the end of the service. The service itself led the Metropolitan banjaluchskij Efrem and her live broadcast television of Republika Srpska. We really enjoyed it and generally it becomes a good tradition to celebrate Christmas at such close us Serbs. Christ Xie Roddy!

  • The Cathedral of Saint-Sauveur, built the same as the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity destroyed in 1941, is characteristic of the neo-byzantine architecture. Its walls consist of a layer outside of red and yellow travertine from Mesopotamia, reinforced concrete and brick. The dome, which overcomes the building is made of steel covered with gold. The dome rises to a height of 22.5 m and the Bell Tower of the Church at 47 m1... located in the Center on a cleared site she is also beautiful inside as on the inside. Indeed ss dome richly painted his masterly luster make l one of the most beautiful cathedrals Orthodox in the country
