Divers and snorkelers alike can enjoy Playa Funchi, a quiet beach teeming with wildlife both in and out of the water. Explore the beach, set within the Washington-Slagbaai National Park. You'll find it down a short but hard to navigate road, so exercise caution when driving. You can enjoy great views from the clifftops of the clear water below; watch flamingos in the nearby salt pans and lizards basking in the sun. For snorkelers, entry to the water can be difficult, so wear shoes and remain aware of the very strong currents in this part of the island.
