Observe the otherworldly beauty of Salt Flats. Its mountains of white salt, set against pink seas and industrial salt works, make for some surreal photo opportunities. Find out about the interesting gravity-feed process that has been going on over 350 years, see the beach huts used by the slaves who worked here, and go swimming in the open ocean. Flocks of flamingos and other wildlife are regulars here, so don’t forget your binoculars. • I loved the view of the pink salt flats contrasting with the white salt and the beautiful blue water. This is easy to see along the road. Highly recommend a visit.
