Lac Cai, Bonaire
(4.2/5 based on 25 reviews on the web)
Enjoy a slice of paradise as you snorkel and swim, enter the water on horseback, or simply laze around at Lac Cai. Nestled between mangroves and the open sea, the lake features turquoise water and clean white sand. Stroll along the shore and find a mountain of shells sitting just by the water. If you're feeling peckish, head to a nearby restaurant, which occasionally hosts live performances. Bring plenty of sunscreen or even a beach tent, as there is minimal shade around the lake. • Big lots of unusual shells, a lagoon in the magical colours. A must see. Special lazy: you can park on the beach and put his chair in the water.

  • On Sunday with family to Lac Cai. Many flamingos seen, very nice. Road was very bumpy. Lac Cai is beautiful, sandy beach, mangrove forest in the background. No shelter available. The large mountain shells is nice to see. At snack bar eaten but not recommended with small children. We have an hour wait for 2 servings fried fish with rice. You can order about 3 dishes with fish, fresh or bottle of beer cans. There was no exchange of money and had to pay.
