Bari Reef, Kralendijk

(4.4/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
As one of the most diverse reefs in the Caribbean, Bari Reef contains more than 300 types of fish and other marine life. The beach entry for this reef provides easy access for snorkeling and diving (daytime or nighttime). The coral in the reef was damaged by a hurricane in 2007, but the area still houses a large amount of marine life, especially past the drop off. Be careful of entering the water in front of businesses, as owners may object to this. Our Kralendijk family vacation planner makes visiting Bari Reef and other Kralendijk attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

  • BARI: recommended by local resident William, is next to the city, towards the North. Easy entry and a very good brightness, the slope of the coral is not as dramatic and you can see and reach the sandy bottom. The side has a private pier just with divers. Most ladies and gentlemen over the age of 60 years. Very nice to see couples helping to plunge and diving together. This dive was the of Moray. We saw all three species here: the yellow, green and painted. We also found a big fish under the pier, hidden. Right now the O2 Rafael was in half and we found a leak in your regulator, he was using my booking and we sailed together without problems. Today we're changing this piece and our last dive will be in the National Park. Tomorrow and Sunday don't dive, the ideal flight time is 24 hrs, but let's extend to 36 because we did many dives.
