Klein Bonaire, Bonaire

Island
Take a boat ride to the tiny islet of Klein Bonaire, and enjoy unspoiled natural beauty. Just 800 m (2624 ft) from Bonaire’s mainland, the uninhabited island of “Little Bonaire” was privately owned until 1999, when it became part of the Bonaire National Marine Park. Visit the deserted, isolated island for a day of peace, relaxation, and excellent snorkeling. The crystal clear waters allow you to explore the island’s tropical reefs and spot diverse marine life, such as sea turtles and flamingos. The island has no facilities, so you have to bring everything you need with you. For Klein Bonaire and beyond, use our Kralendijk trip itinerary planner to get the most from your Kralendijk vacation.

  • I visited Klein Island Beach in Bonaire in April 2017. This is some of the clearest and most beautiful water for snorkeling and diving although the underwater areas I saw were dead reef. There are no ...  more »
  • With taxi boat to klein Bonaire dangers, there the staff were deposed and snorkeled, lots to see under water from beautiful fish to turtles. A pity that there is nothing to buy, from drink or eat. There is also no shade. But well worth it.
