  • The local organization of the guides prevents people to ride without paying a guide (minimum 500bob is a small fortune here) in addition to the entry fee. Everything is good to convince us and threats to rain down. It seems that it is forbidden, but they could not introduce the Law/Decree stipulating the ban. Having tried even when ascension, we ended up turning because they wanted to talk to the police. We preferred to leave this place plagued by unhealthy tourism.
