Isla Incahuasi, Uyuni

(4.6/5 based on 1,000+ reviews on the web)
An otherworldly island seemingly out of place in the middle of the salt flats, Isla Incahuasi represents the primary destination for most organized tours to the flats. From the hilly island, you can view the vastness of the salt flats all around you, stretching as far as you can see. Cacti cover the 24 hectare (61 acre) island, and you'll also find a tourist center catering to the many visitors who gather here every day. Make the 15-minute climb to the top of the hill for an even more awe-inspiring view of this supernatural landscape. Put Isla Incahuasi into our Uyuni itinerary builder to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Uyuni.

  • Very strange feeling to be in the middle of nowhere on an island full of cactuses. Great place for a picnic  more »
  • Place with a regional beauty but without a óhhhhh. If you can go well, if you can't not be the conscience as it is a basic attraction

  • The vision of the Belvedere is beautiful and the way he covered with cacti, beautiful landscape. Who buys the ticket is entitled to use the bathroom (in the desert that is worth a lot!).
