  • The main reason why you would visit is to catch a glimpse of the view of what is depicted on the back of the 100 Boliviano note. Pretty enough, but nothing to write home about. 10 minutes is more than...  more »
  • The truth is that the patio of this University is very nice, simple, but nice. Them arches, the cloisters and the patio form an environment in which is should stop although are 5 minutes to observe how is willing and in what time is made.

  • Created by Papal Bull of March 27, 1624, on the basis of the former colegio San Juan Bautista of the society of Jesus, one of the most important schools in Bolivia, the third created in South America and the first in the country. He was initially founded to teach Professor of latin, art, theology and cannons. This center of higher education was of vital importance for Bolivia, since in their classrooms the libertarian ideas of Latin America has had. "The building of three levels on the main façade and two levels on the sides, of sober Baroque style. By construction period corresponds to the neo-colonial that reproduces the features of the baroque of the colonial period." The property was built in 1701, the facade of the building has a facade of 19th-century and aledaño building is located the historic courtyard of the tercentenary School of law. Both buildings were built by Arq. Comboni.
