  • It is a really nice park but if you consider that it is the only park in sucre it is a bit disappointing as it is so small...  more »
  • Was built by Prince Francisco Argandoña, ´para the Princess of Sucre, Clotilde Urioste, as a replica of the gardens of Versailles (France), and so the Princess, "did not feel nostalgia of Paris", as the Princes of La Glorieta de Sucre, traveled all over the world, and she liked much Paris. It has a scale replica, about 35 to 40 meters, the Eiffel Tower of France, a replica of the arches of the triumph of the Lake of the swans, etc, in the French style.

  • The Park is located five blocks south of the square on May 25, and occupies an area of 70,000 m ². Part of this area is occupied by a children's playground, and at the end there is a fountain of dancing water, which runs from Friday to Sunday, from the 7:00 pm Has a monument which honours the Tore Eiffel, but not so high In front of the Park is the Supreme Court of Justice of Bolivia, whose Judiciary is in Sucre, and not in La Paz. The Park was built in the 19th century. XVII, in French style.

  • Nice experience and close to the market that sells miniature reproductions which is also very interesting.
  • Great park im front of the supreme judicial office of Bolivia
  • A relax and popular place for locals. There are some food stalls selling delicious snacks.
  • I love the vibe of this park. Lots of trees, people bring their dogs, many park benches, food stands. On Sundays it's packed but still a relaxing environment.
  • Really nice place enjoyed by locals and tourists

Where to stay in Sucre

With building restrictions in place for decades, the city of Sucre has developed a little differently than most other cities on the continent. However, the touristic appeal of Sucre has driven up demand for accommodations--now slotted in old, colonial-era buildings rather than new-build high-rises. This development ethos has worked well, with lodgings in Sucre's center among the most comfortable and characterful in the country. Exclusive options cluster around the town's prettiest plazas, with grand rooms and fine-dining restaurants. Budget-minded visitors should explore the range of posadas (guesthouses), set in modest formerly residential buildings on the town's side streets.
