Parque Lomas de Arena, Santa Cruz

(3.9/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Explore the 14,000 hectares (34,594 acres) of Parque Lomas de Arena, a semi-arid coastal area featuring sand dunes rising to 12 m (39 ft). The park opened in 1990 to protect the dunes, but encompasses a variety of terrain including jungle, tropical plains, and a picturesque central lagoon. Keen-eyed visitors can spot numerous mammals and over 250 avian species here. Currently, no public transport services the park, so your best bet is to visit with a tour company; consider one that operates specific birdwatching excursions. • We went to walk and when we left they wanted us to collect, can charge why? There is no decent way, there are no security guards, you miss there inside and not entire anyone of what happened, the truth is that the hills are beautiful, but you are more alone than the one there, and there is absolutely nothing when you get to the hills, or a sad bar to buy water. What is missing to Bolivia is a real interest in promoting tourism.

  • The place is wonderful, but access is only done in the part of the day walking about 2 hours or renting a jip bug already in the entrance of the park where the entrances are bought.
  • A tourist place near to the city to practice sandboard.
  • Necessarily requires a 4 x 4 vehicle. There are no points of support on the road, but close to the hills, there are people who can help. The entrance has affordable and everything is worthwhile for this beautiful gift of nature.

  • Experiences living in the wilderness in Nice but that charge 10 bs. If there is a tap for drinking water or a sale to buy that is a cookie seriously a scam in any protected area has to the basics have there are but it is only for a resort owner bone to wealthy people that is not right should also see is a single tap this TAP 2 kilometers from the hills and out of students there are not easy if you go on foot or bike should administer the money and invest in something better.
