Parque El Arenal, Santa Cruz

Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
1/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web
Locals and tourists alike enjoy the laidback atmosphere at Parque El Arenal, a vibrant public park with a popular lagoon at the heart of the city. Look for the mural by famed Bolivian artist Lorgio Vaca representing his vision of modern day Santa Cruz as well as its history, located on an island in the middle of the lagoon. While the park gives off a friendly vibe during the day, beware of the potential for crime in the area as the day gets darker. Parque El Arenal is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Santa Cruz Edition.

  • El Arenal Park is located in the city center and its admission is free. In it there is a pond, fountain, green areas, places to rest and to artistic and cultural presentations, as well as handicraft market. It is very frequented by locals, seeking a place to rest, dating and chat.
