Parque El Arenal, Santa Cruz

(1/5 based on 95+ reviews on the web)
Locals and tourists alike enjoy the laidback atmosphere at Parque El Arenal, a vibrant public park with a popular lagoon at the heart of the city. Look for the mural by famed Bolivian artist Lorgio Vaca representing his vision of modern day Santa Cruz as well as its history, located on an island in the middle of the lagoon. While the park gives off a friendly vibe during the day, beware of the potential for crime in the area as the day gets darker. Parque El Arenal is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Santa Cruz Edition.

  • Within the first circle of SantaCruz, the ElArenal Park is one of the most beautiful views. Even though they called him dangerous when I asked, I nothing happened at all. Paisajisticamente is beautiful. An artificial lake, fountains and landscaped excellent. Highly recommended to go for a walk

  • It is a nice place to stroll, sources give much beauty and there is a small fair of crafts to one side of the Park. You can take advantage to hike out there, before or after shopping in the traditional market of Los Pozos.
