  • Missing a little creativity to tourism in this area, soon has all what you need to show, extra. The landscape of the area is very beautiful and is still natural should do some viewpoints or some paradores. The issue of the additional there is not much where to eat or where to stock up.

  • We reached La higuera from South from Zudanez, 170 + 170 Km of unpaved trails in 4 + 4 hours, the tenacity of the pilot and passenger is severely tested. Most houses in the village which counts 15 school and the municipal Center there is not much else. In the square are placed a statue of You and bust with the most famous case captions. not much to see, the Museum is perhaps most especially for dedications from around the world and posted on the walls. Recommended for those who like Off road, not recommended for those expecting a tourist place with stalls and souvenir shops.

  • On my trip to Vallegrande, clear that I decided to make the Che's route and reach La Higuera. I went from Vallegrande therefore my almost two hour trip up to La Higuera were surrounded by hundreds of landscapes and spectacular views, fresh air and a natural tranquility not change for anything. In the days that I was there was mist, a bit cold and to return enough powder. The fig tree is a good place to soak up the experience of the struggle of Che since there the was executed, but the place has much more to offer. It is so small that the village is finished in 5 minutes of walking. We were a Friday and there was nothing open since 'they had gone to the village to stock up' people who have more care places are a couple of French and another Frenchman who has another cabin. Lunch with desbordantemente expensive lodging for a basically inhospitable place. If you're a fan of the history or believer in the ideology of the revolution of the Che, sure you will love. If you like a simple curious tourist, it is likely you disappointment after a long and tiring journey.

Where to stay in Santa Cruz

Accommodations in Santa Cruz lie within the limits of the Cuarto Anillo, while the areas outside of the ring road remain largely residential. The north of Barrio Equipetrol houses the city's glitziest and most luxurious hotels, offering extensive lists of amenities, including popular fine-dining restaurants, swimming pools, and spas. Head closer to the center of town for more budget-friendly options, including no-frills hotels, pleasant guesthouses set in formerly residential buildings, and backpacker-friendly hostels.
