  • On my trip to Vallegrande, clear that I decided to make the Che's route and reach La Higuera. I went from Vallegrande therefore my almost two hour trip up to La Higuera were surrounded by hundreds of landscapes and spectacular views, fresh air and a natural tranquility not change for anything. In the days that I was there was mist, a bit cold and to return enough powder. The fig tree is a good place to soak up the experience of the struggle of Che since there the was executed, but the place has much more to offer. It is so small that the village is finished in 5 minutes of walking. We were a Friday and there was nothing open since 'they had gone to the village to stock up' people who have more care places are a couple of French and another Frenchman who has another cabin. Lunch with desbordantemente expensive lodging for a basically inhospitable place. If you're a fan of the history or believer in the ideology of the revolution of the Che, sure you will love. If you like a simple curious tourist, it is likely you disappointment after a long and tiring journey.

  • The fig tree is the Pucará municipality, within the province of Vallegrande. Entering La Higuera is traced back to the years 1968 and 1969. Asses lead us to those times. Being in la Higuera will visit the House of the Telegraph, the Schoolhouse where they tortured and killed Che Guevara forces sent by order of the CIA from United States who wanted to turn off the light that emanated from the work of guerrillas led by Ché Guevara. The fig tree need a day or if you two days to visit the Gorge of Churo and other points where the cutting edge of Ché Guevara fighters were riddled with bullets. Complementing this visit it is necessary to go to the town of Vallegrande to see the mauseleos of the guerrillas and discover military operations serving the CIA orders emanated from the United States Government. The laundry of hospital Jesús of Malta rolled back you to the year of the death of Che Guevara... Contact with the Director of the school of the fig tree and the nurse responsible for washing the dirty and battered body of Che Guevara will make you feel the importance of the value of guerrilla Che Guevara and feel the light of continuous Che viva.

  • Place the end of the Che after your captures. Required the presence of a guide, or won't understand any of it here. Che Guevara tried to free the Bolivia of capitalism and was murdered in this place, that today the honors and lives it, Che didn't die, hasta la Victoria, always.
