Interesting glimpse into a terrifying story of a Catholic order. Family honor above all, not to think of what happened behind those walls. Dissuasive. Nix views over the rooftops, because someone has confused what. Strictly in Spanish.

Exciting tour, with guides who have the desire to you to share the life of this place. Beautiful religious collections held by the sisters through the centuries (dowry of the young girls of the aristocracy).

Where to stay in Potosi

Because of protection from overdevelopment by UNESCO, you won't find many high-rise, newly built hotels within Potosi's city limits. Instead, visitors can choose from a good selection of colonial-era buildings housing charming hotels and welcoming guesthouses. Generally speaking, look to the south end of the center for more budget-friendly options, with little guesthouses located on residential side streets. By contrast, the more spacious area surrounding the train station has the majority of the grander hotels, set on impressive boulevards and overlooking central plazas.
