  • Very organized and fundamental to learn a little about the "colonization" of Bolivia (Bolivian 40 entry)

  • Visit essential. It is an interesting building, with a remarkable collection of works of art and other objects very suggestive of the universal, not just San Luis Potosi and Spanish history. It is the best of this place: as first big industry of coins, from here is given a global boost to trade; It definitely leaves barter to assume the form of payment with money, thus founding the trade as we know it, and therefore, modern society. Spain is not well. The treatment of workers in this factory is like from the days of slavery. There is even a kind of show with audio, to imagine the suffering and mistreatment of people and animals. A pity that the guide out so listless, showed zero enthusiasm, the eventual questions not were welcome, is limited to a single work of a room and the rest nothing, as if were objects decorative. Despite all this, it is easy to detect the undoubted historical value of the place.

  • One of the best preserved antique mints in the world. Amazing to be able to see the transition from horse and cart to steam and eventually electricity. Also had an extensive coin collection on display during my visit. Well worth a look!
  • Very interesting museum. The guided tour is very useful to understand the story of the Bolivian money story. Nice rooms and well staged scenes.
  • Great museum - very interesting history on currency and the historical importance of Potosi
  • One of the most interesting museum I've seen! The guides tour was great, the location is fantastic and the history of mint in Potosi is fascinating. There are also quite a few old machines which were used in the production of coins.
  • Must see. There is still plenty left of the old mint. The silver was from the rich mount of Potosí.
