  • Very bad Guide. Replied at all time with bad face, without desire. I believe that his name was Sofia. I understand that there were people, but if you don't like it, it should be dedicated to something else. Additionally charge you for everything: more expensive am foreign tourist and charge you to take pictures

  • In the House of the currency entered the silver that came out of the Hill for coining them coins that would go toward Spain. In Potosi have very present (and by this keep some resentment) that all that silver is it took them Spanish while were them indigenous which it ripped of the Hill to coast of their lives. In the old Mint building, now converted into a Museum, are conserved valuable objects from the golden age of the mine and immense machines for laminating silver who came directly from Cádiz, as well as the various units in which the different tasks of coinage were carried out.

  • To be able to go a place with so much history, fills you with excitement to see paintings of the Cuzco masters, such as Melchor Pérez Olguin. The currency Palace opens x l tomorrow from 9:30 to 12:30 and in the afternoon from 14:30 to 18:30 hs. All visits are guided from the Palace, go light since you can not enter with a backpack, is also the choice of the wardrobe which is free of charge.

  • One of the best preserved antique mints in the world. Amazing to be able to see the transition from horse and cart to steam and eventually electricity. Also had an extensive coin collection on display during my visit. Well worth a look!
  • Very interesting museum. The guided tour is very useful to understand the story of the Bolivian money story. Nice rooms and well staged scenes.
  • Great museum - very interesting history on currency and the historical importance of Potosi
  • One of the most interesting museum I've seen! The guides tour was great, the location is fantastic and the history of mint in Potosi is fascinating. There are also quite a few old machines which were used in the production of coins.
  • Must see. There is still plenty left of the old mint. The silver was from the rich mount of Potosí.
