  • Visit the Santuario del Socavón is an experience that I recommend to learn more about our Lady of the dancers and miners, with a temple of peculiar architecture and very striking paintings. In addition to the painting of the Virgin Mary which is very nice, and when one ends of the temple and goes to the bottom can visit the mining museum, where for a small fee you can go down to a tunnel, learn about the development of small-scale mining in Bolivia and see "Uncle". Very interesting

  • It is beautiful, but in the middle of the Carnival, for the crowd it is impossible to reach him, unless you're a dancer.

  • We carry out the visit and the guide was very explanatory about all the most important aspects of mining in the area of Oruro. The visit is not very long, but interesting enough to keep you attentive to every detail. Good for those who are a little claustrophobic is an excellent opportunity to visit a mine, but feel so worried as to which experience you of a panic attack.
