Sajama National Park, Oruro

Categories: National Parks, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 60+ reviews on the web
Sajama National Park highlights the outback of Bolivia. Make the village your base camp, and go on a variety of adventures to discover indigenous plants, animals, natural formations, and ancient burial structures. The park was established to protect the Quenue trees, which are used to produce coal. Climb up the Nevado Sajama and reach the highest point of Bolivia, treat achy muscles to some relaxing warm water and the park’s hot springs, and hike around the park to see old ruined and abandoned churches and homes.
