Sajama National Park, Oruro

National Park Nature / Park
Sajama National Park highlights the outback of Bolivia. Make the village your base camp, and go on a variety of adventures to discover indigenous plants, animals, natural formations, and ancient burial structures. The park was established to protect the Quenue trees, which are used to produce coal. Climb up the Nevado Sajama and reach the highest point of Bolivia, treat achy muscles to some relaxing warm water and the park’s hot springs, and hike around the park to see old ruined and abandoned churches and homes. • The Sajama National Park is a beautiful place. Beauty and vastness are terms that come to mind often when one is there, with the Sajama facing the view. We visited the hot springs and we swim in them, it was extremely pleasant. The geysers are located in a beautiful place and it is very nice to see how the water boils in a place as cold. The Nevado Sajama, deserves a special mention, as guardian of that space rises impressive and one can stay hours watching it. It is interesting to be able to surround it by the way. The climate is cold and rises from 3 in the afternoon in an icy wind. It should go well sheltered and with Hat and protective solar. It is acosejable to bring swimsuit for the hot springs. We stayed at the Tomarapi hostel which is terrific and highly recommended. The criminal is worth thousand times, visit this place.
