  • Known as the "road of death", this scenic highway is the site of the downhill ride from the outskirts of La Paz to the Yungas region. The ride is pure adrenaline, but it's full of stones and dangerous curves. In one of the first sections of the route had the misfortune of my bike slide next to a curve and I fly toward the guardrail and then scroll through the ravine into a ditch, resulting in multiple fractures and a long period of rehabilitation. Although the ambulance hasn't taken long to rescue me, didn't get the support he expected from the tour operator.

  • I did the ride in the rain, more adrenaline, is very worthwhile. The Agency will accompany the van until the end, for she has stops for pictures and snacks, lunch included on arrival, you have the option to choose bike with shocks.

  • Did the script with an agency that is not on tripadvisor, but I highly recommend. The script itself is practically mandatory for those who go to La Paz. Paid 390 bs per person, more entries (50 bs). The bikes were of the Kona with dual suspension (front and back) with hydraulic disc brake. I don't recommend doing with bikes simpler than that, because the second part of the path is on a dirt road and scale mto. The protective equipment were not really new, but neither does mta difference pq is just be careful and you won't be needing them. I'm the biggest Klutz that I know and yet I spent whole for the tour. Bread was served with egg, Fanta and a chocolate on your first stop. After that only had water and finally, after that it's over the road, we went to a hotel with lunch, swimming pool and hot showers with towel, SOAP and shampoo included (that last part is equal to all the companies that make the tour, except Gravity).

  • Yungas road, Bolivia is an important route to travel from La Paz to a part of the Amazon jungle area. According to statistics, every year, to 200, 300 people died on this road. Visit the Yungas road, visitors will adrenalin when going on the road with a narrow side of the slot area 600 m high, the other side is a towering mountain range.
