  • There are almost more pigeons than visitors who give them food. A judgment which is required before a visit to the Casa del Pueblo, a 26-storey with a helipad on the roof building. Modern murals with extraordinary. It is home to the nfonctionnaires of the Government of Evo Morales.

  • The statue here is dedicated to Pedro Murillo, one who fought for independence. The square has been a longtime meeting place and is the location of the presidential palace, the cathedral, and the nati...  more »
  • Once was a beautiful colonial square, today full of pigeons which people feeds. Also is now greatly impaired by the construction of the new building government and Congress, whose architecture has nothing to do with the colonial of the first buildings soon.

  • Nice place to sit if you have sorojchi issues
  • A historical place in La Paz, there are many Government buildings, although many will move out to the "Casa Grande del Pueblo". There is a military guard. There is a Cathedral, and the Comercio street starts there, where there are many commercial places. There are statues, and many doves, you could buy corn to feed them, but be prepared for it.
  • Neat park, lots of birds and government buildings. Worth a visit at least for a quick stop over.
  • There are several buildings around the Square, like Congress, Presidential Palace, the Chatedral Church, and others. In the top of the Congress's Building, there is a clock with the hands turning again the conventional way. The People is very gentle when you request any address. The whether is very variable and depend about the month that you visit. The transportation is very cheap and you need to deal and get treat. You can visit beautiful places like the Salary the Uyuni at the south of the country, this one had a extended and highest salty desert in the world. The mirror efect at the afternoon is very nice capture in the pictures. Bring your heavy jacket to protect again the cold.
  • An attractive square if you like historical sites. A lot of colonial architecture, with the cathedral and government buildings. There are guards standing outside the church which contains the saint's relics! On one of the buildings there are still bullet holes from some shooting not long ago. A colourful place, with some vendors and many women dressed in the national costume. Unfortunately they are building a very tall tower to house the government offices just behind some beautiful colonial buildings so that really spoils that side of the square.
