  • An excellent museum to understand a little bit about Bolivia. It is essential to go with plenty of time to appreciate the wonderful pieces that exist in the different rooms. The room dedicated to the art of feathers, as well as the Bolivian masks are impressive. The upstairs is perfect to understand the history of Bolivia, from its first inhabitants to the present. Negative points: is closed at noon so you have to plan the schedule of the visit. In addition, they only accept cash at the.

  • I went to this museum on my last day in La Paz. It was something to fill the time, since I had already done all scheduled tours. But, once there, this place Bewitched me and surprised! Excellent collection, Museum organization very good ... the Museum about history and culture in a way interesting and agile. One of the 3 best museums of the city, along with the Tiwanaku Archeological Museum and the National Art Museum.

  • Can't be in La Paz and not visit.
  • One of the best museums in La Paz
  • The MUSEF develops its activities in the Palace of the Marquis of Villaverde. The architectural structure built in 1730 has a typical colonial style and is notable for its courtyards with arcades of stone and its triumphal arch of half point, with coat of arms carved in stone. It is located in the La Paz historic centre, between Ingavi & Genaro Sanjinés streets, in 1930 it was declared a national monument. By its design, it is one of the best examples of the colonial civil architecture of the city.
