  • A traditional Bhutanese building which was a fortress and monastery. The building structure is massive yet beautiful. Presently the building houses the offices of the king and the secretariat. This place is a must visit destination in Bhutan. In night time the building looks incredibly beautiful when colorful lights are turned on.
  • A elegant and nice palace in Bhutan. You will find the environment calm, peach and elegant when you visit, anytime, any season. Its a great example of Bhutanese traditional architecture and culture. Must visit if you came Bhutan.
  • The history of this place is just so intriguing. Even the officials who show around the dzong are so we'll versed. One thing amazed me that you can cross paths with the King. Seriously where does that happen! Such simple yet so elegant. The culture that is cut off from Western influence.
  • It has administration and temple buildings in the dzong. Best time to visit is evening after 4.pm. the dzong opens at around 5 for visitors. The temple is very serene. Do wait for night lighting. Also Buddha statue can be seen from here. Entry fee is rs 300
  • Nice place. Gives you a insight into Bhutans administration. Be sure to take a guide.
