Established in 2005, the academy features a museum detailing the national art of weaving.   • It is a non-government non profit organisation run under the patronage of Queen mother Sangay Choden Wangchuck. It has a textile museum showing rich textile traditions & way of life of Bhutan

  • Impressive textile museum. Amazingly beautiful textiles that depict the Bhutanese garment history. The museum textile video is a must-watch. Beautiful textiles and garments, documentary videos, movies, books, and mementos can be purchased at the museum shop.

  • A good textile academy in Bhutan
  • You can see the beautiful fabrics of Bhutan are space, whereas the craftsmen products directly. A stitch made by hand fabrics were really strange. From the past to the present in a variety of fabrics, but explain it so informative.
