Exploring National Institute for Zorig Chusum allows you to observe students creating traditional Bhutanese artworks. The institute trains students in Bhutan's thirteen traditional art disciplines, including painting, woodcarving, embroidery, and clay work. A walk around the classrooms offers a deeper insight into the works that you may come across in the temples of the region, with much of the training undertaken here being utilized in temple decoration. The onsite shop sells some of the student-created works.
