  • Beautiful nunnery located uphills near Punakha. It facilitates religious teaching to girls. Girls has accomodation within the campus. There is a big pagoda as well within the campus. Tourist have access to almost all parts of nunnery. There are some artifact available for sell made by nunns. Proceedings are contributed towards the day to day functioning of nunnery. Site location is really beautiful. Thimpu highway & temple of fertility is visible from here. Must visit place when visiting Punakha.

In addition to the daily Buddhist studies, the nuns also have general world law courses such as Lyon, embroidery and thangka making.
