Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge, Paro

Categories: Bridges, Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web
Take an exhilarating walk across Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge, the only way to reach the Tachog Lhakhang Dzong. Around 600 years old, the bridge remains sturdy, but not for the fainthearted or those afraid of heights. You'll be able to see straight through the chain-linked floor to the ground below, so keep your belongings close in case they slip through the cracks. Work out when and for how long to visit Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge and other Paro attractions using our handy Paro itinerary planner.

  • this suffers a little from conveyor belt tourism as all the cars leave Paro but its a great spot for photos so I am not at all surprised.
  • Old bridge under repair but area great for pictures of two bridges and responding structures near by. Definitely walk down.
  • Often, the first stop, driving from the airport directly to Thimphu. Who wanted to go ever so a suspension bridge of prayer flags decorated. Not easily accessible!
