Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge, Paro

(4.3/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Take an exhilarating walk across Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge, the only way to reach the Tachog Lhakhang Dzong. Around 600 years old, the bridge remains sturdy, but not for the fainthearted or those afraid of heights. You'll be able to see straight through the chain-linked floor to the ground below, so keep your belongings close in case they slip through the cracks. Work out when and for how long to visit Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge and other Paro attractions using our handy Paro itinerary planner.

  • never in my life have I seen a bridge made of chains, something surprising, different and exciting, even being a River below, the feeling of fear happens, you cross is faced with a beautiful landscape and a few different houses on the other side, it was a quick trip, just to pass the bridge, on the side of the road but it's worth it because it is super different

  • Bhutan looks way from Paro to Thimphu, Paro River was built in the 14th century temple called "tachoracan", a rather unusual Duc sect other than Temple is. Chains-old suspension bridge was built in the 14th century from the road down the Hill to the temple. Suspension bridge in construction at that time was washed away in the floods of 1969, the current bridge was rebuilt by raking the suspension bridge in 2006, remained around the chains seems to. Is covered with large mesh nets on the chains, under the River through the invisible legs I was petrified. Died on the cross so Cross and rocked the hold I have no.

  • 不丹最古老的橋,新橋建成之後已經不能通過此橋,但橋塔內也非常值得一看,橋外的景色也非常優美,是一個拍照的好地方。  more »
